Larry Bright, Jr. is the Founder and President of Bright Asset Management. Larry has been working in the advisory and wealth management industry for over 30 years. Larry currently resides in Venice, FL. Before moving to Florida, Larry grew up and spent the majority of his career in the shoreline town of Old Saybrook, CT. Born and raised in this charming community, Larry's journey is a testament to hard work, determination, and a committment to helping others. He earned his degree from Bryant University in Rhode Island, where he graduated with a degree in Finance with a concentration in Economics. Larry's passion for the beach, outdoor living, and a strong affinity for the west coast of Florida, brought him to the sunshine state. He purchased a home in Venice several years ago and recently became a full-time resident.
With his degree and commitment to his vision, he started the early part of his career as a trader for a Midwest trading firm in Detroit, MI. After deciding to work more closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, and small busineses, he worked as a senior financial advisor for a major brokerage house where he specialized in assisting clients with $1 million or more in investable assets. In 2000, he joined a regional investment advisory firm in Connecticut where he worked as a senior advisor and sat on the firm's investment committee.
After realizing his clients’ need for more specialized strategies, comprehensive wealth management, and personalized service, he eventually established his own wealth management firm in 2006. Larry has become a trusted resource for individuals, families, and small business owners seeking sound financial advice, effective wealth management, and asset protection strategies. Since it's founding in 2006, Larry has been actively engaged in running the company including investment research, portfolio management, and all financial planning services. Larry acts as a fiduciary for his clients, taking into consideration the best interests of the firm’s clients at all times. Larry deals directly with every client of the firm.
